What is the resume writing process like?
Once you purchase, you’ll fill out a questionnaire, upload your current resume and schedule a phone consultation with a writer. During the consultation, your friendly writer will get to know more about your job search goals and come up with a targeted strategy for your documents.
7 days after the consultation, you’ll receive first drafts of your documents. You’ll then have up to another 7 days to request 2 rounds of revisions to the documents.

Will I be able to talk to my writer?
Yes! Every client schedules a 30-minute phone consultation with their writer. Your writer will also send you an introduction email shortly after your purchase and from then on, you can communicate with them directly over email at any time.
Are your resumes optimized for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)?
Yes! We incorporate keywords from the job descriptions you send and use simple but elegant ATS-compliant formatting to make sure those keywords scan properly. This ensures your resume is likely to come up when a recruiter searches for qualified resumes in their ATS and that recruiters can see your key qualifications when quickly skimming it.
It’s worth noting too, though, that Applicant Tracking Systems aren’t as big of a deal as you might have heard – there is a lot of misinformation out there about them. Your exact time to final drafts depends on when you schedule your consultation with your writer and how many revisions you request. Currently, our personalized process takes up to 10 days until first drafts, followed by up to 7 additional days for 2 revision requests.

You'll fill out a brief questionnaire, upload your resume, and schedule a consultation with your writer.
2. 30-Minute Consultation
Date scheduled at purchase
Your friendly writer will send an introduction email and a list of preliminary consultation questions for you to prepare for. During the consultation, they'll get to know you more, ask targeted questions about your job search goals, and describe a customized strategy that they'll use to write your first drafts.
3. Receive First Drafts
7 days after consultation
Using their notes from your consultation, your writer will email you completed custom-tailored initial drafts of your documents no more than 7 days after your consultation.
4. Get Up to 2 Rounds of Revisions & Final Drafts
Up to 7 days
You can request 2 rounds of revisions to your writer within 7 days of receiving your first drafts. Once you’re completely satisfied, your writer will email you final drafts in PDF and Word formats!
